What does a surface coater (m/f/d) actually do?

You use electrochemical processes to refine the surfaces and thus the properties of components. You thus increase wear and corrosion protection or temperature resistance, for example, many times over, which is indispensable above all in aviation, mechanical engineering, the automotive industry or in toolmaking and the hydraulics industry.

As a surface coater (m/f/d), you have an exciting job where you learn about complex processes and can apply your interest in physics and chemistry. As part of a team, you will perform chemical analysis, learn to read technical drawings, and how to inspect coated components against our high quality standards. After some time you can prepare and monitor our galvanic baths to achieve the best coating result.
